Kei Nishikori and Milos Raonic, two of the ATP World Tour’s hottest young guns, go head-to-head in Sunday’s final of the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships, with more than just the prestigious title on the line.
Both players are seeking to qualify for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals for the first time and victory in the Tokyo title match will significantly improve the champion’s chances of making it to London for the 9-16 November finale. Victory will see Nishikori rise to fifth in the Emirates ATP Race to London while victory for Raonic will see the Canadian rise to seventh unless Tomas Berdych upsets Novak Djokovic in the China Open final.
